FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Tennis team, led by Head Coach Doug Neagle, has announced the commitments of Katja Markus and Chloe Henderson.
Markus, an incoming first-year student, is originally from Argentina. Markus earned a career-high ranking of 82nd in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rankings as a singles player, while also earning a career-best ranking of 920 in doubles. Markus currently holds an 8.87 universal tennis ranking (UTR) in singles and 9.36 doubles ranking.
Henderson, an incoming senior transfer, joins the NSU Women's Tennis program after two seasons at Loyola (LA). During her career at Loyola, Henderson went 30-12 in singles play and 31-6 in doubles. Henderson earned first-team All-Southern States Athletic Conference honors and was named a third-team NAIA All-American. Henderson began her career as a member of the North Carolina State University Women's Tennis program.
